    CAPE Groep

    Utrecht, Netherlands

    Full Time

    Have you recently graduated and ready to optimize business processes? And are you looking for an innovative company with many young, highly educated employees and an informal atmosphere? Then the CAPE Groep Business Consultant IT Traineeship might be something for you! We offer an effective program where you are in the lead. Our Traineeship is characterized by a fast and practical development curve and enables you to grow quickly into an independent consultant. You do this in an environment that is varied and offers different projects, customers and new technologies. We are a down-to-earth organization, but with great ambitions.

    At CAPE Groep you will learn how to help organizations with their Digital Transformation by using Mendix. This way, as a consultant, you will develop custom integrations and applications faster and more efficiently. The position of Business Consultant IT therefore has two important pillars: IT and Business. In the Traineeship you will learn how to bring these two pillars together. What makes CAPE and this position unique is that you not only advise on the solution, but also build it yourself together with your team.

    The key points of the Traineeship

    • An intensive training program of one and a half years with 500 hours of training in both your technical and personal skills;
    • Learning on the job; you immediately start working under the guidance of your mentor.
    • Four days a week you are partly on location at the customer and at the CAPE office where you work with colleagues on integrations and applications.
    • Every Friday you are at the office in Utrecht to share your experiences with other trainees and attend knowledge sessions or training.
    • You have the option of using an external coach to help you with your personal development

    Moreover, at CAPE your development comes first. There is plenty of room for your knowledge and ideas, we think your input is important. We also ensure a healthy work-life balance. Our team outings, knowledge sessions and drinks ensure that in addition to a culture in which we work hard, we also have an informal and social atmosphere.

    Employment conditions

    We start with an annual contract with permanent employment in the long term and offer you a nice salary of €3,100 gross per month based on a 40-hour working week. In addition, we offer you the following secondary conditions;

    • Annual profit sharing scheme on top of gross salary
    • 6% non-contributory pension
    • 26 vacation days
    • Your own mentor who coaches, advises and guides you
    • Flexible working hours and work locations
    • Travel allowance of 25 cents/per km
    • Use of pool cars when you go to the customer (you get your own lease car after 1 year).

    What do we ask of you?

    We are ambitious and driven, so it is important that you are too. Our environment is fast-paced and requires you to continuously look for new knowledge and continue to develop. You have a fast learning curve and are able to think conceptually and abstractly. In addition, you dare to be vulnerable and you can handle feedback well. When you encounter problems, you first look for the solution yourself and ask the right questions so that you get back on the right track. You are not dependent and take responsibility.

    We further ask:

    • A completed university education in a Business or IT direction;
    • 0 to 3 years of work experience;
    • Affinity or interest in technology, IT, programming or wanting to build something yourself;
    • Full-time availability;

    CLEVR

    Amersfoort, Netherlands

    Full Time

    Do you dream about building apps without programming language being a barrier? Do you want to use the programming skills you learned during your studies, but still keep learning new ones? Can you imagine working at a company where you can make an impact with your work because you are building sustainable solutions? If you answered yes to those questions, then CLEVR is looking for you! Mendix is booming, and so are we. We are growing fast and need Mendix Consultants like you to help us enable this growth.

    Your opportunity

    At CLEVR, we help our customers build industry-leading adaptive solutions that have a real impact. We do not just develop a standard product: we strive for a glove fit between business and IT, and with your help, we will exceed our customers’ expectations. Some of them include Etos, Eneco, and Leirvik.

    And what better way to kickstart your Mendix career than by joining our hands-on, action-packed five-week Bootcamp to get certified by CLEVR’s Mendix Academy? Once you have completed it, you will receive a Mendix Rapid Application Development certification. From there on, you will work with other consultants on creating all sorts of apps for our customers

    What makes this role unique

    You get to work with some of the best in the business. We have plenty of advanced and expert certified Mendix Consultants in-house who can help you level up your Mendix skills. And, besides having our own Academy, we have won multiple Mendix awards (including second prize at Mendix Hacks). Ask some of our consultants what it is like for them! You can also join one of our guilds: internal communities that allow everyone to collaborate outside their team, share, learn and discuss specific topics of interest.

    “At CLEVR, I’ve been involved in several projects, all with their beauty and different challenges. One of the things I like most about my work is experiencing the collaborative passion at all the different companies and re-use the knowledge you gain over the years across different verticals. For one of my previous projects, I designed a larger cloud environment to support an AI use case. This got me excited about the endless possibilities of these technologies next to Mendix. Working at CLEVR gives me the opportunity to learn more about this.”- Jeroen Appel, Mendix Consultant

    Your role will include

    Interacting with customers on a one-on-one basis to understand their challenges and requirements. You will analyse the problem based on customer specifications to find out its root cause and craft a solution. This solution would be in the form of building apps (without programming) using the Mendix low and no-code platform to fulfil customer requirements and mitigate the challenges. But don’t worry. You will never walk alone: you will be working in agile teams in the SCRUM process model.

    What you bring to the table

    You have graduated within the last 3 years or you have up to 2 years of low code experience.

    Experience with Mendix or another low-code platform. If you have experience with hard coding/programming, no problem! You can start by joining our Mendix Bootcamp.

    Experience in Java, HTML, Python, JSON/REST web services, and SQL databases is a bonus.

    Front-end development (UI, HTML5, CSS3, SASS) is also a nice to have.

    English proficiency and fluent in Dutch
